    Why are assessments held?
Typically, there are more participants in an age group than can be accommodated on a single team.  For this reason, assessments are held to determine the participants that will be placed on the higher level team(C1 OR C2).

    Who must Assess?
All soccer players planning to play Fall and/or next Summer should be planning to attend skills assessments. While skills assessments are not mandatory, they are used to enhance the team formation decisions.

In the event of needing to split players of a particular age group between more than one team, skills and coaches' assessments are used to determine which players will be rostered on the higher competitive level team.

We encourage all players to attend the appropriate session:

Gear requirements are the same as for practices. Players need to wear shin guards and cleats, and they need to bring a soccer ball and water bottle.

***2017-2018 registration is non-binding until 8/8/2017 per MYSA rule 1.3.4. and the NRSC refund policy.
