The New Richmond Soccer Club is a recreational soccer association for all youth in the New Richmond, WI area. Our goals are to promote participation of the New Richmond area youth in organized soccer that is fun, safe, healthy, educational, and promotes good sportsmanship.

Traveling soccer is a more competitive sport. Our organization takes this competition with an approach first and foremost in a fun, safe and healthy manner for all. The following information is provided to give you a general guideline, however, can vary pending Coach expectations and age of players.
Team Practice: Generally twice a week in the evenings for an hour and a half. This could be more or less depending upon age group and Coach.
Games: Games are generally twice a week with a distance in drive time being ½ hour to 1 ½ hours. Games can start with varying times in the evenings. Tournaments are another story, it can be a weekend.
Rain: If there is lightening the game will be rescheduled, otherwise kids will play the game rain, snow, or shine.
Away games: We understand that not all parents can make it to every away game or may show up late, we will do our best to provide transportation for your son or daughter to games, contact your coach or team manager.
When do practices start: Generally for Spring season the practices start in April and/or when the snow leaves the fields. This too is based upon your child’s coach. For Fall, practices start in late August/Early September and is typically a shorter season.
Coaches: New Richmond’s Soccer Club coaches are licensed, subjected to a background check, and are required to complete the Kidsafe Risk Management Program through WYSA (Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association). They are updated on the newest techniques and forms of training. We strive to strive to give your child the best soccer experience possible. Certain guidelines are set for our organizations coaches and can be viewed under Coach Information.
Risk Management: We have a strict risk management process in New Richmond to keep your child safe. Our coaches, managers and board members have all had background checks. Parents may be asked to stay until the last child leaves due to our Risk Management rules. All parents and players are required to read and sign a code of conduct form at the time of registration.
Tournament: The cost of one tournament is covered in the registration fee's. This tournament is a budgeted amount and your coach has a choice of surrounding area tournaments to pick from. It is the coaches' choice at this time.
Districts: Going to Districts is an extra fee. The decision to go will be based upon the Coach’s ability to be available for districts as well as a parental vote. There must be enough players to participate on the dates of the district games.
